Quick searching by ticker/company name
  1. Click the Search tab and then click the Quick Search tab.
  2. Type the company ticker symbol or company name in the Ticker/Company box.
  3. Select the Primary Ticker check box to indicate that the system only search for those reports whose primary indexed ticker is the one you have specified.
    Important: Not all historical documents are indexed by primary ticker. When a primary ticker is not available, the system uses the first indexed ticker as the primary ticker.
  4. Click in the Symbol Set box and select the symbol set that corresponds with the ticker you have entered. If you are searching on a company name, you must select Company Name from the list. If you do not want to specify a symbol set, select All Symbol Sets.
  5. Click next to the Days Back box to specify how many days back to search.
  6. Select a product from the Product Menu.
  7. Click .
  • You can search on a portfolio in addition to the tickers by clicking in the Portfolio box.
  • Company name searches are case sensitive. Only use capital letters where they appear in the company name. Also, ensure that you have selected Company Name in the Symbol Set box.
  • If you are using a Bloomberg ticker in your search, you must type a period (.) between the ticker and the country code where you would normally enter a space. Also, if you have entered only Bloomberg tickers, ensure that you select Bloomberg in the Symbol Set box.
  • You can change the products that display in the Product Menu by adjusting your Preferences.
  • Click the More link at the bottom of your search results to retrieve more headlines on the specified search criteria.
